"A suicide bombing in Syria killed four Americans and wounded three more on Wednesday," reports Politico, "raising questions about the terror group's resilience and reviving the pitched debate around Donald Trump's plan to withdraw American forces from the country."
"The Pentagon said that two U.S. service members," continues Politico, "one Department of Defense civilian employee and one American contractor were killed in the attack."
Congressman Ted Lieu on the unfortunate news:
It's been roughly six hours since Ted Lieu posted this tweet, and Donald Trump has yet to post a message on Twitter, or make a public statement.
Part of it is probably because Donald Trump is a piece of shit, so he's busy tweeting about walls while watching a segment on Fox News, meaning it's Fox News setting policies and not the President of the United States.
Another reason may be because of the work of his Vice President.
A few hours after the attack, Vice President Mike Pence in a speech declared that, "the caliphate has crumbled and ISIS has been defeated."
The organization VoteVets had a simple reply to the remarks made by the Vice President:
Later in the afternoon, Mike Pence cleaned up his remarks and stated that the United States had "crushed the ISIS caliphate and devastated its capabilities," but Politico notes that Pence not say they were "defeated" this time.
What a fucking jackass....
