Donald Trump was the face of the birther movement, said Mexicans were rapists and murderers, and defended Neo-Nazi's. Nevertheless, Trump supporters still have the audacity to try and lecture people about moralities.
Although I fucking hate David Frum, he is right when he points out:
Frum isn't the only conservative to point out Trump supporters hypocrisy:
First off, I have no fucking clue what Kirk is talking about with regards to ISIS. After all, Vice President Mike Pence declared that ISIS was defeated mere hours after multiple U.S. troops were killed by ISIS.
Secondly, Charlie should not be discussing tax rates when he is clearly a historical illiterate who hasn't heard of the Presidency of one Dwight Eisenhower.
As Public Square points out, "During the administration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, from 1953 to 1961, the top income bracket in the United States climbed to a marginal tax rate of 91 percent."
Public Square also notes that the tax on corporate profits was two times the amount that it is now, and that was before Trump's tax cuts which made it 21 percent.
Charlie Kirk likes to talk economics, but he really doesn't listen to what economists say.
"Most economists discredit the notion that lower taxes will lead to greater growth and employment," writes Public Square. "Sweden, with a top marginal tax rate of 56.4 percent, experienced a GDP growth rate of 3.2 percent in 2016, more than double the U.S. rate of 1.5 percent."
Furthermore, I'm tired of the pro-lifer's sanctimonious position. They care about fetuses, but they don't care if they are poisoned by pollution.
"Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency has proposed cuts in water pollution regulation that would increase the 5,772-square-mile dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico, the area where fish and other living things must swim away or die," notes the DCReport.
DcReport on what the Trump administration wants to do to the environment:
Andrew Wheeler, Trump’s nominee to lead the EPA, wants to remove thousands of streams, swamps and other bodies of water from regulations approved under former President Barack Obama to curb water pollution.
Scientists think a 45% reduction in nitrate and phosphorus, much of it from fertilizer, running into the Mississippi River is needed to shrink the dead zone, which was the size of Delaware last summer. In 2008, a task force set a goal of reaching that target by 2015 which didn’t happen.
But it's not like pollution kills people or anything, per Time:
In one of the most extensive reports of its kind, environmental health experts have estimated that nine million premature deaths worldwide—16% of all deaths—were linked to pollution in 2015, with the majority of deaths coming from air pollution.
The new study, published in the journal The Lancet and written by more than 40 international health and environmental experts, uses data from the the Global Burden of Disease, an international study that examines trends across populations and estimates mortality from major diseases and their causes. To estimate the number of people who died from pollution-related causes, it looked at the effects of air pollution, or air contaminated with things like gases and the burning of wood, charcoal and coal; water pollution, which includes contamination by things like unhygienic sanitation; and workplace pollution, where employees are exposed to toxins and carcinogens like coal or asbestos.
In other words, pro-lifer's are hypocrites. Never mind Trump supporters.
But the Trump administration isn't done with trying to make people sick, or killing people.
The Trump administration is looking to dismantle regulations that would protect workers from exposure to Beryllium.
DCReport on the health impacts if one is improperly exposed to the chemical element:
OSHA’s standard to protect workers from the disabling and deadly effects of beryllium exposure was issued in the waning days of the Obama administration. Exposure to beryllium dust causes chronic beryllium disease and lung cancer. Symptoms include difficulty breathing/shortness of breath, weakness, fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, joint pain, cough and fever. Over time it may lead to disability and death.
But Republicans are totally pro-life.....
And Trump supporters, shut the fuck up about everything.....
