Honest Nonsense has noted that Charlie Kirk is not the brightest, and he tends to just parrot lies spewed by Donald Trump. And like Trump, Charlie thinks because he learned something for the first time, it's the first time that anyone has heard about it.

When Charlie tweets that Saudi Arabia murders dissidents, he's not only so dumb that he doesn't think of the name Khashoggi, he doesn't remember that Donald Trump helped cover up the murder.
Donald Trump is such a piece of shit that the Jamal Khashoggi incident is in the news for a week, and then it's off to the next horrible thing that Donald Trump has done. The media should still be on him over this to this day, but America's declining attention span is hard to overcome.
Maybe Charlie isn't much of a reader, and so maybe needs an image to understand that his dear leader is buddies with those assholes:
