Ben Shapiro Shouldn't Talk About Race or Racism

It's been pretty obvious to Honest Nonsense that Congressman Steve King of Iowa, is a racist asshole.

Proudly displaying the Confederate flag on his desk should have been enough for someone to see that King was a racist, especially since he's a Congressman from Iowa, so he doesn't even have a bullshit excuse.

When King tweeted that, "We can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies." That was another example of King being a racist, but at the time Ben Shapiro defended him.

After King's racist tweet, Shapiro wrote:

The deep desire to paint Republicans as racists rather than defenders of Western cultural superiority leads the media to lie. People should read and listen to King’s actual words before jumping on the bandwagon.

Steve King decided to start 2019 off on a racist rant that even got Shapiro to realize King is a racist.

“White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?” King asked The New York Times. “Why did I sit in classes teaching me about the merits of our history and our civilization?”

These comments by Rep. King caused Ben Shapiro to go back and update his blog:

On January 10, 2019, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) reportedly stated, "White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization -- how did that language become offensive?" In light of those statements, this article gave far too generous an interpretation of King's words. As I stated in the article, there were two ways to interpret his statements. His later open embrace of the terms "white nationalist" and "white supremacist" suggest that the first interpretation described below was not as implausible as it seemed at the time.

Rafi Schwartz on Shapiro finally grasping that King is a racist:

It truly speaks wonders for Shapiro’s keen intellectual prowess that it took King wondering aloud about what makes white supremacy so bad in the nation’s premier newspaper for Shapiro to step back and consider whether things were on the level after all.

It's rather ironic that nearly two years ago, Shapiro asked people to "listen to King's actual words before jumping on the bandwagon," of calling Rep. King a racist.

We were listening to what he was saying, and what he was doing Ben.

Splinter ends their article pointing out that Ben Shapiro seems to not care that King has given interviews to anti-semitic websites.

The level of ignorance Ben Shapiro has of one's racism not only makes one question if Shapiro is a racist (I think he is), but his ignorance certainly shows that he should not be allowed to discuss race and racism.
