On Friday, Ben Shapiro spoke at the annual March for Life, in which conservatives profess their love for life by wanting to put an end to research that gave us vaccines for polio, rubella, measles, and one day could give us cures for diseases like Parkinson's, and ALS.
Ben Shapiro's choice of an example to show that pro-lifer's stood on the moral high ground was odd, to say the least, when he said that "no pro-life person would kill baby Hitler" for "baby Hitler was a baby."
Ben Shapiro was reading off questions from his emails, and apparently chose to discuss one that asked him if he would kill Hitler when he was a baby.
"The truth is that no pro-life person on earth would kill baby Hitler," Shapiro said, "because baby Hitler wasn't Hitler, adult Hitler was Hitler. Baby Hitler was a baby."
"What you presumably want to do with baby Hitler is take baby Hitler out of baby Hitler’s house and move baby Hitler into a better house where he would not grow up to be Hitler, right? That’s the idea," continued Shapiro.
I guess Ben is implying that children born into poverty should be taken from their parents, and give to more affluent families. I have looked, but haven't seen any evidence that indicates that his dad taught him to grow up to commit genocide and take a stab at world domination.
Ben Shapiro expressing more sympathy towards baby Hitler than immigrants separated from their families thanks to Trump's "zero tolerance" immigration policies is totally something Ben Shapiro would do.
After all, he was a defender of Steve King's for the longest while.
But there is some good news, his comment has led to him losing a few sponsors, but the question has to be, why the fuck are they sponsoring this asshole in the first place?
