Donald Trump met with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, but it ended with Donald Trump walking out because Pelosi and Schumer weren't willing to give him what he wants, and him offering them nothing in return:
Oh wait, I lied. His negotiating is you give him his wall that the majority of Americans don't want, and he'll reopen the government.
This tweet not only shows just how big of a spoiled-ass brat this man is, but it also shows how terrible of an actual negotiator he is, which at this point should be regarded as nothing other than commonsense.
For two years of being in the White House, he had a Republican Senate and Republican House, but couldn't get his fucking border wall done.
Now that the Democrats control the House, he's fucked on fulfilling his promise of the wall to his xenophobic base, so he's using government employees as hostages.
By the way, nearly a third of those federal employees are veterans:
Journalist Ryan Grimm on the absurdity of Trump calling a wall as a way to deal with a "crisis":
I think that goes for a lot of us.
Unfortunately, Trump has millions of supporters who somehow think that the way Trump is going about this like a negotiator.
I wonder how conservatives would have reacted if Obama caused a government shutdown for ObamaCare?
I don't know even know why I said that. Conservatives don't care about being hypocrites, and at this point I don't even think they're intelligent enough to know what being a hypocrite means...
