I just got done with a blog about how Donald Trump is using refugees stuffed away in camps at the southern border as a political pawn to go after his "enemies" by sending these refugees in buses and dropping them off in sanctuary cities.
Well, doubling down on his white nationalism and fascism regarding using refugees as a way to attack his "enemies," Donald Trump was not done showing, once again, why he's a bigoted bag of human scum.
He posted a tweet that read, "WE WILL NEVER FORGET!" with an edited video of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar speaking interspersed with videos of 9/11.
I'm not adding his video because it's just his bigoted, fascist, revolting, repugnant, evil, and any other word you want to use to express how incredibly disgusting and racist this tweet was.
As Vox's Aaron Rupar noted, a Donald Trump supporter was arrested a couple of days ago for threatening to kill the Congresswoman.
“If our forefathers were still alive, they’d put a bullet in her head," the Trump supporter told an Omar staffer over the phone.
The only words necessary to say is that Trump is a white nationalist/fascist, since either way, you're implying both those words when you use one of them.
Other people were quick to point out that on the very fucking day of 9/11, Donald Trump called into a local New Jersey channel to brag about now having the tallest building in New York City.
"Are Murdoch-owned media outlets - Fox News, the New York Post - trying to get Congresswoman (Ilhan Omar) killed? Genuine question," tweeted journalist Mehdi Hasan. "I mean, this is just astonishing."
Unfortunately, Mehdi, Donald Trump wanted to one up his propaganda outlets.
I truly fear Rep. Omar will be killed, and it's because this country is full of bigots. One whom is in the White House, along with many in our political system are inciting someone unhinged to do something horrific.
And it's worth reminding you once again, the man bragged about having the tallest building in New York City, on the very fucking day of 9/11.
Let's stop kidding ourselves. You're not actually going after Rep. Omar for what she's saying. You're going after her because she is an opinionated woman of color who also happens to be a Muslim.
