Dumbass Trump Supporter Enters A Church To Yell At Those Helping Immigrants, Oh, He Had A Gun Too

Members of the right-wing group Patriot Movement Arizona, went to protest a Phoenix church that is known for helping asylum-seeking immigrants while their immigration status is pending.

One man barged into the church shouting, "You're in violation of harboring! Federal law! Subsection thirteen twenty-four, A-one-A, a federal offense!" while a second man yells "America first!"

The second man who bragged of "bust(ing) right through door" of the church, and had a handgun in a holster.

Nick Martin of the Southern Poverty Law Center posted a video of the incident, and notes that "apparently made no arrests."

As ThinkProgess points out, this is not the first time that members from PMAZ have done something like this.

In March of 2018, "PMAZ members were arrested and charged for similar behavior at a protest outside an Arizona mosque," and in that incident too, someone brought a firearm with them.

"In a Facebook Live video from that incident, a woman stops to give her gun to her son after seeing a sign outside the mosque that says guns are not welcome on the premises," notes ThinkProgress.

In my mind this is a nativist group, not a patriotic one, and that it's also a dumb one.

Due to court rulings, and Trump is no longer allowed to have it's child-separation policies, ICE has been releasing immigrants with plans for a follow-up. One such place that ICE has been releasing these immigrants is at this Phoenix church that PMAZ members went to harass church members.

Furthermore, while ignorantly harassing immigrants and churches that help immigrants deal with their immigration status. The members of this group could be going after people who are harboring illegal immigrants. Ironically, the man who used the "America first!" slogan during his presidential campaign and beyond.

Personally, I don't care about people hiring illegal immigrants. Good luck getting white people to pick the crops.

I just want to point out that I'm not surprised that dumb-hypocritical xenophobes, support a dumb-hypocrite xenophobe.

Racist America was festering, and Donald Trump has given people like these of the Patriot Movement Arizona the confidence to pull off the kind of stunts that was just seen in Phoenix, Arizona.
