I haven't discussed the incident between the Covington Catholic students, and the Native American war veteran, and I really don't know why. I guess it's in part because I don't feel as comfortable talking about guys, like I do talking shit about Donald Trump or Charlie Kirk, and the other part is that it is a story that needed more context than the original video that people saw on Saturday.
Of the comments that intrigued me about the weekend's events was what journalist Ryan Grimm tweeted about the March for Life movement:
You'll hear conservatives bitching about liberals indoctrinating the kids at public schools and universities, but what the hell is this school doing? Sending boys from an all boy school to D.C. for this, is blatant act of indoctrination of the youth.
Anyways, the weekends incident has caused a propaganda war, and although the left has overreacted (I think the boys were racist-jackasses, but the people sending them death threats is far more fascist than what they did), those who have been there to defend the MAGA students is rather telling.
As Jared Holt of Right Wing Watch has pointed out (and please read his piece) that these four guys have backed the Covington boys:
- Charlie Kirk
- Mike Cernovich
- Donald Trump Jr.
- Donald Trump
I'm sorry, but it's not a good thing to have these guys on your side.
As Honest Nonsense has noted, Charlie Kirk just parrots whatever garbage lies that Donald Trump says.
Like Trump with the birther movement, Mike Cernovich was that to Pizzagate.
This headline about Mike Cernovich from Right Wing Watch is all you need to see to know that this man is not a faithful actor:
Students chanting "Build the Wall," at various times over the weekend, and January 23, will mark two weeks to the day that Donald Trump Jr. compared immigrants to zoo animals in an Instagram post:
Not only was Trump the face of the birther movement:
It was ten days ago that Trump said that Sen. Elizabeth Warren should have done an Instagram live video "in full Indian garb."
So when you tell me you have people like this backing you, It's going to take more than talking points told to you by a PR firm to convince me.
With allies like this in a propaganda war, you know it's a propaganda war......
Oh, and by the way. There's this:
