Kellyanne Conway's most infamous moment being a senior advisor to Donald Trump so far came when she said that press secretary Sean Spicer was providing "alternative facts," with regards to the crowd size at Donald Trump's inauguration.
Holy shit we have come a long ways from then.
On Sunday, Conway went on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, to give her opinion on a video released by the White House with regards to an altercation between CNN's Jim Acosta and White House intern.
The White House has accused Acosta of putting his hands on the intern, and Kellyanne told Chris Wallaces, "As a woman whose had people put their hands on me, thinking they have a right to get in my personal space. I don’t like him pulling that mic back and doing on her arm, it looked like a karate chop almost."
The video released by the White House has been accused of being doctored, and Kellyanne had an odd response to say the least.
"Well that's not altered," she told Wallace. "That's sped up. They do it all the time in sports to see if there's actually a first down or a touch down."
That logic is absurd, but she's the "alternative facts" lady, so it's not that surprising. The great thing about her statement on Fox News Sunday is that she is admitting that the video was doctored, and a likely lawsuit by CNN will use a Trump senior advisor's own words against them.
