A federal court has ruled that the North Carolina Republicans illegally drew congressional districts, also known as gerrymandering. Gerrymandering is the political correct term for saying that one political party is drawing up voting districts unconstitutionally in order to fuck over their political opponents. Because of gerrymandering, Republicans have been able to win seats in the house and Senate. Despite the fact that the majority of citizens do not support their ideas. The electoral college has been saving the Republican’s asses for year's on presidential elections, but for states they’ve employed gerrymandering. “Usually the voters get to pick the politicians. In redistricting, the politicians get to pick the voters,” said Tom Hofeller, the man behind the North Carolina gerrymandering. The Hill called Tom Hofeller a pioneer, which is a weird choice of words for someone trying to destroy democracy. Oligarchs over democracy, what a fucking pioneer! Race was a factor for the redrawing of districts in North Carolina, so you can list bigot above anti-democratic on your asshole ID-card.
As the news come out that the Republican party is doing something unconstitutional in order to disturb democracy, the Democratic Party is going the other way, sort of. The Democratic Party stated that the party will not allow its superdelegates to vote in the first round of balloting at the party convention in 2020, unless a winner has been decided in the primaries.
Superdelegates votes may not have impacted the outcome of candidates, but nevertheless it looks better optically. It’s a step in the right direction, but it could be just a step being done by a performing actor. Bernie Sanders called the vote “an important step forward in making the Democratic Party more open, democratic and responsive to the input of ordinary Americans.” The Republicans may gerrymander, but Democrats aren’t winning the pro-democracy award either. Bernie’s statement is pretty damning for the Democratic Party, because it shows that both parties don’t really care what their voters think. This move so far allows the Democrats to look good, while, at the same time not really do anything.
Andrew Gillum is not a Democratic Party kind of guy. Jeff Greene on the other hand, would be. Jeff Greene ran to be the Democratic nominee for Governor in Florida, but he lost to Andrew Gillum. I say Jeff Greene is more of the Democratic Party’s type of guy, because he owns millions of dollars worth of Puerto Rican debt. At least $26.8 million dollars worth.
A man like this is perfect for a party that cares more about money than it does about the policies that the citizenry want implemented. Number two in the House of Representatives, Steny Hoyer, was recorded asking Levi Tillemann to drop out of the Colorado race for Congress. “He focused his campaign on clean elections, combatting climate change, ‘Medicare for All,’ free community college, and confronting economic inequality and monopoly power,” wrote The Intercept about Tillemann. The DCCC supports Jason Crow, a corporate lawyer, and an Army veteran. The DCCC likes to endorse veterans and those from the intelligence community, because that’s their way of trying to hide that the party is full of a bunch of crooks. Though, If you have your own money to spend on your campaign the better.
The DNC will take money from anyone, because their ideology is that the more money you get means the more you win. Donald Trump didn’t do shit for campaign adds, because he didn’t need to. The media made sure to help Trump. A megalomaniac might be bad for America, but his smut-nonsense protects corporate media, and the Democratic Party from discussing real shit.
About the Democratic Party decreasing the superdelegates power (click on superdelegates higher up on the page), DNC Chairman Tom Perez said “Today we demonstrated the values of the Democratic party.” According to Tom Perez, these values also mean helping corrupt banks, and the DNC receiving money from big oil. The Democratic party says that it wants to attack climate change, but says that an “all-of-the-above” energy strategy is the way to go. In other words, we want deal with climate change, but work with the industries that are causing it.
The Democratic Party says it wants to attack climate change, but takes money from the fossil fuel industry. They say that they take money from the fossil fuel sector, because they support the fossil fuel workers. The Right likes to paint the Democratic Party as being radical leftists. The reality is most Americans are more to the left than they realize, but corporate corruption plagues the Democratic Party, and so they too want the left to lose.
