With the news that GM is was going to layoff 14,000 workers, Congressmen Joe Kennedy III voiced his frustrations to the news, saying that we need "a moral capitalism" that would "reward" American workers too.
"14,000 loyal GM employees will clock out tonight to an uncertain future. Meanwhile GM’s stock soars, benefiting shareholders and shareholders alone. Our nation deserves a better capitalism - a moral capitalism - that rewards workers for the success they help build," tweeted the congressmen.
Despite the serious nature of his tweet and the subject manner, nevertheless, Rep. Kennedy III unknowingly told a joke.
"Moral capitalism" - HA!
How about we start this "moral capitalism" with the Democrats no longer receiving political donations from the fossil fuel industry....
