It was less than a week ago, when a deranged man entered a Pittsburgh synagogue, and murdered 11 people. Trump's first remarks were to essentially blame the victims. “This is a case where if they had an armed guard inside, they might’ve been able to stop him immediately,” is what he said.
That Americans should have to fear being shot so much that they need to have armed protection when they go to places of worship is beyond worse to describe the absurdity of such a position as that which our President expressed.
But if we were to follow Trump's line of logic, then we would have to also say that those who go to a yoga studio need to make sure that there is armed protection?
A man entered a Tallahassee yoga studio, killing two, and wounding others before killing himself.
Schools, places of worship, yoga studios, and so many other places where people are being killed by guns is insane, but one side of the political isle's only response is having more guns.
The cause of the shooting was allegedly over a domestic dispute, so mental health issues isn't the main cause, or not the cause at all for this shooting.
We know what will end gun violence, and that's the easy access to guns, but it's not going to happen, and so Americans have just become numb to it.
Americans are so numb to mass shootings two high school girls from Kentucky were suspended for dressing as the Columbine shooters for Halloween.
Guns and gun culture are too ingrained into aspects of American culture that nothing is going to change. Mass shootings are here to say.
