A reasonable stance. Nothing she said should receive criticism. Unless, you're against:
- LGBTQ Rights
- Doing away with discrimination
- Human Rights
So of course Taylor Swift's Instagram post would bother Trump:
Instead of calling him petty, Trump should be bothered. Taylor Swift's post has caused voter registration to sky rocket.
As noted by CNBC:
Vote.org says nearly 65,000 Americans ages 18 to 29 registered to vote in the roughly 24 hours after the singer-songwriter's social media rallying cry.
Mike Huckabee went to Twitter to voice his opinion about Taylor Swift's post:
Forget the fact that Huckabee cannot grasp that Taylor Swift has been around long enough that when she became popular, fans who were 13 then, can now vote. Hence, the surge in voter registration.
Forget the fact that obviously her fans wouldn't only be 13 years old.
I am not a Taylor Swift fan. I can't even name a single song of hers. Not because I think her music sucks, it's just not my type of music. I now only like her because she is voting for a Democrat. But even I know that when you publicly criticize Taylor Swift, you're going to get heat from Swifties.
Not only is he wrong about the age of Swifties, he was also wrong to say that "it won't impact elections," because it has as been stated already.
