A president of the Untied States attacking the free press is surreal in of itself, but that is why a president that can't stop himself from doing so on Christmas is not surprising whatsoever.
This comes in the wake of the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) reporting that the number of journalists that have been jailed around the world has gone for a third straight year.
Although "Turkey, China, and Egypt were responsible for more than half of those jailed around the world for the third year in a row," as reported by CPJ. This last year in the United States was not a good one either, as these headlines show in a Huffington Post article:
Nevertheless, the current president of the United States will continue to attack a free press, because if he could have his way, the United States would resemble Turkey, China, and Egypt.
