These days the news is so shitty one may forget that a corrupt piece of shit found his way on to the Supreme Court, and unsurprisingly, The Guardian reported that the Judge who is now tasked with handling ethics complaints against Brett Kavanaugh, is a judge who Kavanaugh has lobbied for in the past.
According to The Guarding, they have obtained emails that were sent to the Senate judiciary committee that since 2001, Kavanaugh had lobbied for judge Timothy Tymkovich to get a a lifetime appointment as a federal judge. Judge Tymkovich is now in charge for reviewing over a dozen ethics complaints that have been filed against Brett Kavanaugh.
Our current state of politics is so corrupt that this conflict of interest will likely go unrecognized, and even if it does get discussed, it will become old news by next week. Meanwhile, Sen. Jeff Flake went on The View to be Jeff Flake: completely worthless.
Instead of discussing the conflict of interest between Kavanaugh and Tymkovich, Sen. Flake decided to tell The View that he didn't know whether or not he should believe Dr. Blasey Ford, or Judge Kavanaugh.
While Sen. Flake lamented that he didn't have the same "certitude" as his colleagues, he could be considering the conflict of interests between a Judge who Kavanaugh has lobbied for in the past, and is now put in charge to over see the charges of corruption made against the new Supreme Court Judge, but no one expects Sen. Flake to do anything right.
That Brett Kavanaugh is on the Supreme Court, is just a perfect symbol for the Donald Trump presidency. It's not about the rule of law, or moral conviction. It's about getting judges put into place to guarantee capitalists that the swamp will be intact for the next 30 to 40 years.
