Today has been a day so far here at Honest Nonsense discussing Donald Trump.
First, it was Trump showing that he is a shitty negotiator when talking to the Democratic Senate and House Minority Leaders about a border wall.
Then, it was the petty notice that he didn't say Merry Christmas, but in fact, the Holiday Seasons.
The third thing was Trump's Interior Department is looking to move wild horses to Russia, and unjustly downgrade animals from the "endangered species" list.
Now, this:
"U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he stood by Saudi Arabia’s crown prince despite a CIA assessment that he ordered the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and pleas from U.S. senators for Trump to condemn the kingdom’s de facto ruler," writes Reuters.
“He’s the leader of Saudi Arabia. They’ve been a very good ally,” Trump told reporters.
I guess good allies murder your own citizens.
Trump sounds like a tough guy, and more like a coward.
Once again, Trump told Reuters reporters that Muhammad bin Salman "vehemently denies," having Jamal Khashoggi murdered.
And once again, Trump is using the excuse that America can't do anything about the Khashoggi murder because of arms deals with Saudi Arabia.
“And I really hope that people aren’t going to suggest that we should not take hundreds of billions of dollars that they’re going to siphon off to Russia and to China,” Trump said to reporters.
Accepting the murder of a U.S. resident out of the idea of making money from selling weapons that are then used to murder Yemeni civilians: Family values....
You can murder a U.S. journalist as long as you put money in Trump's pocket.
