Donald Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort has himself some really shitty lawyers. We know this, because when his lawyers went to file court documents attempting to refute allegations made by Special Counsel Robert Mueller that Manafort had violated his plea deal.
Manafort's lawyers submitted those documents and forgot to redact certain parts of it which showed that Manafort had provided polling data to a Russian who is considered to connected to Russian intelligence, Konstantin Kilmink, during the 2016 election.
Whoops.....
Having said that, Bill Palmer brings up a good point that I hadn't considered.
"Just days after Donald Trump was shockingly named the winner in 2016," writes Bill Palmer. "It was widely reported that Paul Manafort had told Trump to go campaign in Michigan and Wisconsin in the final days of the campaign."
As Palmer points out, "the Senate Intelligence Committee quietly released a bipartisan report confirming that Russian hackers penetrated the voter registration databases in key swing states, allowing them to delete voter registrations."
Two of these states were Wisconsin, and Michigan.
Thanks to Paul Manafort, we know for sure that the Trump campaign conspired with a foreign government. Now the question is how much does Donald Trump know about his, but as Bill Palmer notes, Robert Mueller likely knows the answer already.
